When HU, safety inspection (SP) and UVV fall due.
The HU runs to the month from the last inspection, the SP at a fixed gap to the HU, the UVV inspection to the inspection date. Go too early and you waste time, come too late and the date slips back. The calculator knows all three rules and shows whether combining them pays off.
Left empty means: no inspection yet, the term runs from first registration.
The number plate appears only on screen and in the printout, never in the shared link.
The calculator provides general information and is not legal advice. Legal status: 14 Oct 2026, checked against the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations with Annexes VIII and VIIIa, the Road Traffic Act, the Road Traffic Regulations, the Fine Catalogue Regulation, DGUV Regulations 1, 52, 68, 70 and 79 and DGUV Principle 314‑003, each in the version retrieved on that day.
Two sets of rules, one fleet.
The HU term starts with the month it is carried out (Annex VIII No. 2.3 StVZO). Anyone who has it done too early wastes term, anyone who comes too late pushes the next appointment back. The UVV inspection under DGUV V70 also runs from the last inspection, but to the exact day. The calculator does not cover dangerous goods under ADR with their own tank and body inspections.

The next HU counts from the month the last one was done. Anyone who has it done too early wastes term. The HU is due by the end of the month on the inspection sticker, the safety inspection by the end of the month on the test mark and SP plate. The count runs to the last day of that month.
First HU after 36 months, then every 24 months. Taxi, private hire vehicle and ambulance every 12 months.
At the latest 12 months after first use, then from the last inspection. The term runs to the day.
“Add to calendar” downloads a calendar file holding all the calculated dates. “Share link” copies the address with your entries, “Print” puts the result on paper.

What Zentrana does with it automatically
- 01 Fleet management holds the main inspection and UVV inspection on the vehicle, UVV instruction and driving licence check on the driver.
- 02 The system will remind you 60, 30 and 7 days before the due date, in the app and by email. The lead times can be adjusted.
- 03 A deadline is done only with proof. You record the UVV inspection with the inspector, result and defects on the vehicle.
In Zentrana, nothing needs recalculating.
What you type in here one by one runs there automatically for every person: hours, deadlines, leave and holidays. Zentrana reports deadlines before they run out.
